ボストン大学のエグゼクティブMBAの受験には、3つのエッセー、履歴書、2つの推薦状、組織模式図、自己紹介分が必要ですが、
さらにもう一つエッセーを書くことで、スカラーシップに応募することができます。
スカラーシップの応募の有無は合否には関係ないといわれていますが、
エッセーが単純に1つ増えることは、かなりの労力になります。
そこで、まず私の場合はインターフェイスのルクレアと相談して、mustのエッセ3つに集中して、そちらを仕上げてから、時間的に余裕があればスカラーシップも出すことにしました。
結果的には、なんとか3つのエッセーをクリアし、スカラーシップにもとりかかることができました。

awards a limited number of scholarships for incoming students. Selection for
these scholarships is highly competitive. Academic and career achievements will
be considered with preference given to those who are self-financing all or part
of their Executive MBA education.
1. Please write an essay addressing why you should
receive a scholarship. The essay should include your professional and personal
and accomplishments, explaining how these will differentiate you as an
Executive MBA Candidate and will add value to the Boston University EMBA
Program.
